Khmer Style Wild Boar Tusk Buddha

Bold, intricately hand carved and polished, this incredible piece of artwork is the tusk of a wild boar that features a stunning Buddha motif on one full side of the wild boar tusk. The off white, bone color is a consistent tone as the Buddha has been polished by hand. The backside of the wild boar tusk has been left in its original state, with the striations and natural markings. 

Hand carved in Cambodia by skillful Khmer artisans, this Buddha weighs 68.18 grams and measures 4 inches long. Usually, similar pieces are mounted in silver or gold and worn as a pendant but you can display on your alter, keep it as a personal talisman or consult with your local jeweler to make it into a pendant.
