This unique pendant is a Four-Face Bayon Pendant and hand carved in Cambodia from metamorphic rock, blue lapis lazuli, a semiprecious gemstone that is prized for its intense blue color. Features a round base and fully rotating swivel bail.This pendant is being sold as is, chain not included, stands approximately 1.5 inches tall and weighs 47.11 grams. 

Blue lapis lazuli stones are mined in Afghanistan, Russia, Chile, Pakistan, Italy, Mongolia, the United States and Canada. During renaissance times, lapis lazuli was ground into a fine powder and processed into the pigment, ultramarine for use in frescoes and oil paintings. It is most commonly seen made into jewelry, carvings, boxes, mosaics and more ornamental purposes due to its stunning color.
